There is something so warm, cozy and relaxing when it comes to lit candles around the house. I have some essential oils I just love and decided to try a homemade essential oil candle recipe that I found on MarthaStewart.com. Here is what you will need: 2 pounds soy-wax chips 6-inch wick with wick tab Glass container, a mason jar works great (FYI 2 pounds of wax chips will give you 32 fluid ounces of wax) Skewer Your favorite essential oil (I used lavender) Transparent glass paint (optional) Directions: Step 1: Place wax chips in a heatproof glass measuring cup. Here is an easy recipe for a body cream that I made my mom. She was looking for something less “greasy” than the body butters, but more creamy than a lotion. Homemade Hand Sanitizer Recipe

Here is a DIY recipe for homemade hand sanitizer with essential oils and other common household ingredients. This recipe uses our Robbers' Relief essential oil blend which is often used to fight off the common cold, due to it's antiviral and antibacterial properties. Here is what you will need: 5 drops of Robbers' Relief (Thieves and OnGuard would also work) 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel 1 tablespoon of filtered water 1/8 teaspoon vitamin E Oil Mix the ingredients together and store in a 2 oz. squeeze bottle. Peppermint Lavender Foot Scrub Recipe

I have a treat for you guys today, an easy recipe for a Peppermint Lavender Foot Scrub.  There are only four ingredients needed, and most are basic household items. Here is what you need: Epsom salt – 1 cup (or course sea salt) Vegetable Oil – 4-6 tablespoons (any carrier oil will work: fractionated coconut, olive, jojoba, etc.) Lavender Essential Oil – 6 drops Peppermint Essential Oil – 6 drops Food coloring – 3 drops (optional) Mix the ingredients together and you are done!
